Theater Seating Gallery

Theater Seating Gallery began in 2003 with the introduction of one set of theater seating to our new store, Rustic Furniture Depot.  As our primary business was selling rustic furniture, we added it at the recommendation of the manufaturer's representative whose sofas we were purchasing.  We started by selling a set of the Showtime Collection which is made by Premeire Leather and distributed by Coaster Company of America.  Our philosophy was that we would simply try to sell them at the lowest possible margin and try to sell as many as possible - a philosophy which has never changed.  What started as one set of media room furniture, quickly expanded to four sets as sales were better than expected.  We were in a prime location: the rapidly growing Highway 380 corridor between Denton and McKinney, including many customers from the nearby communities of Aubrey, Pilot Point, Frisco, Allen, Prosper, Celina and Plano.

EXPANSION:

Within two years media seating was, other than the rustic furniture side of our business, the fastest growing segment of our business.  We moved the theater seating into its own room - a room completely dedicated to theater seating.  Over the next few years we made several additional significant moves. One of the biggest decisions we made was to begin to purchase the theater seating by container, thus lowering our cost for each item.  By passing this savings along to the customer we were able to see sales increase exponentially.   Up to this point, all the theater seating we sold was nonpower.  Now, people were driving from all over the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex to purchase our media room furniture.  Through our relationship with Berkline, we began to explore the possibility of carrying Power Theater Seating. In the beginning, power theatre seating, only accounted for less than 10% of our theater seating sales - partly due to the fact that we sold the product by special order only.

ITS VERY OWN BUILDING

Near the end of 2007, we got a call from our landlord asking if we were interested in renting the building beside our existing business, Rustic Furniture Depot.  We jumped at the opportunity.  As we expanded into this 6000 square foot building (approximately half showroom and half warehouse), we realized we had the perfect opportunity to capitalize on this growing market. The additional room has allowed us to add even more product.  With the additional warehouse space, we can purchase even more of the products by container - saving you money and allowing us to grow our market share. Theater Seating Gallery continues to grow and hopes we can add you name to that of former Cowboys, sportscasters and many others who have purchased their seats here at the Theater Seating Gallery - the place with the most seats to try, the most choices of instock seating, the ability to get you custom seating at the lowest possible price and the offer of free delivery and setup within a 40 mile radius.
